PHP Absolute Path
To find the absolute path to your root directory open a new page in your text editor and paste this code:
<?php echo $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']; ?>
Save this file as absolutepath.php. Now connect to your FTP server and upload the file to your root directory. Go to http://www.yoursite.com/absolutepath.php in your web browser and you should see your absolute path displayed on the screen! If your site is hosted as a subdomain or whatever you will also need to include the name of your folder to the end of your path. For example if your subdomain folder is your name then your path will be something like /home/user/public_html/yourname/.
