The Basics...

I graced this world with my presence on the 16th of June 19..blah blah. Let's just say I am a twenty something (about to be thirty something) child of the 80's lol. I am african american and proud to say so. I am a christian girl who was raised in a non-denominational church. I have a sister who is most definitely one of my best friends. I have lived within a 40 mile radius my entire life. I live in a small town in Illinois where people are always in other people's business. I am happily married to a great guy named Martin, who completely spoils me. We don't currently have kids together but would love to eventually add some to our family unit. My home is my full time job, although I do freelance my services in web design and graphic arts to supplement our income. You know those pretty little flash pop up ads you hate, yeah I make those. I did attend college and have a BS in business and web development. Dance is my life, I did it for 14 years before my body gave out on me. Now I do it strictly for fun, hip hop and contemporary styles are among my favorite. To not dance is to not breath, it is the driving force that sustains me. I also have a huge extended family and we are all pretty loud and well, basically obnoxious. I also have a long hair miniature dachshund named Lola who is the queen of the world.

In A Nutshell...

I am a bitch sometimes but I'm good at heart* I smoke sometimes gross I know but it's me* I find people irrating* I have a low tolerance for ignorance* Jesus is my forever homeboy* I see television as a basic learning tool* I love all aspects of dance* I think being a bitch is overrated* my mind is full of randomness* I can't stand being disorganized yet I loose everything* I am completely and totally head over heels in love* I don't trust anyone* I can't get through a day without tripping* iced coffee is like my crack* I tend to binge drink vodka* my team always wins :} chances are I would make you sick* all I ever needed was his love* I hate to cry* I love my flip flops* my summers usually rock* I recognize game* I'm really into vintage glam, think Monroe- Hepburn- Garbo & Wood* I love all things Warhol* I think KDUB is the shit* I don't think reading this can even begin to tell you about me* I wish I could save the world* I love old Hollywood* I laugh at things most people don't find funny* only a couple of people speak my language* I think everyone should get wasted from time to time* dorks are adorable* I miss college* In my world there is fairy dust pixies & magic* you don't know me & probably never will* I don't care if you think your fat chances are you weigh 90 lbs* pain eventually fades away* ten years from now you'll look back and laugh

medicine unless it's absolutely necessary, irrational people, unappreciation, roaches, cheaters, recklessness, drunk people when I'm sober, females who hate on other females out of jealousy or spite, washing dishes, vomit even if it's my own, coconut, black licorice, animal neglect, child abuse, taking life for granted, assumption, using your body to get attention, ice cream headaches, crappy reality tv, racists, gay bashers, being scared, thunderstorms, infertility, oximorones, silence, kids who think they know everything already- trust me I used to be one, whiners, fads, copy cats, dance crazes, the phrase "thats hot", the actions of young hollywood today
