Okay so I’m not really Irish but my hubby is and my last name is so I figure it counts! Anyway Happy St. Patty’s Day to everyone. I really don’t celebrate this day although I have fond memories of being in college and hittin the bar scene for some green beer and partying hard. Ah, sometimes I miss college and all the frivolous high jinks that comes with it. Well I don’t really have much to blog on right now. As far as my life goes I had my wisdom teeth taken out last Wednesday the 10th so I’ve pretty much been in recovery mode. It sucks because the pain killers just make me want to sleep all day. I can’t operate heavy machinery so I’m pretty much walking around like a zombie all week saying crazy stuff no one understands. Yeah because I forgot to mention the vicodin makes me all chatty, like I can talk for an hour about absolutely nothing. Then I crash out, wake up, and do it all over again. Luckily the pain is going away and yesterday was the first time I didn’t need to have any pain meds all day. Hopefully after my filling next Wednesday I’ll be completely done with the dentist until my next cleaning. I went there in December because my tooth broke some of you may remember that post, and of course they found a bunch of other things wrong to torture me, that always happens because I’m not too good about keeping up with the dentist. So of course they tell me I have a cavity that needs to be filled and my wisdom teeth needed to come out, but I guess it’s better to get it all done. Anyway I’m doing that chatty thing again but the point is I haven’t had much of a life the past week. I also haven’t had a job in like a month, which can get extremely boring with nothing to keep me busy, but I’m hoping to win the bid I submitted to design a local limo service’s web site, with any luck I’ll hear in the next few days. I love those kind of jobs because the company is small and the sites usually don’t take much to get up and running. Of course they don’t pay all that great either but the money isn’t really the point, otherwise I’d have a real 9 to 5.

*stops blogging to answer the door* Hmm, that was odd a little kid probably about 8 just knocked on my door and gave me a religious pamphlet. Which is all fine and well, even though I already have a church and a religion. The weird thing is that this kid was by himself and it is almost a quarter til 11 at night. That’s random, I find myself wondering what kind of parents does he have to be out pedaling pamphlets so late? Some people, I don’t why I’m so surprised. Anyways I’m off to do something constructive like take my butt to bed or I don’t know watch tv, wait that’s not constructive, lol either way I’m out of things to bore the masses at the moment. Wow I can’t even believe another year has come and gone! I just barely feel like it started. The last couple weeks of 2009 have been trying for me to say the least. First I was all pissed because of my database crashing and all that crappy stuff which of course I wrote about and eventually got over. Then the Saturday before Christmas I woke up to a loud crunch and excruciating pain only to discover that I had completely fractured one of my front teeth. I mean it was basically cracked all the way around in the middle of the tooth. So I spent the whole weekend trying not to break it completely off. Then my dentist was on holiday break so I had to call the emergency number and get a quick appointment on Monday. So long story short I had to get the tooth pulled because there was no other option and the nerve endings were exposed. So my whole holiday has been mostly about sleeping and trying to heal. No holiday dinners or sweet christmas treats for me. I basically ate mashed potatoes, pudding, and jello all week. Then it got inflamed and infected so I have had a round of antibiotics and I just started my second round earlier this week. Plus I’ve been on Vicodin and just in sort of a daze. So yeah, that’s how my holidays have gone thus far. And now it’s New Year’s Eve and plans I originally had to go to a party have been canned. I can’t drink alcohol with the Vicodin plus I’m not really feeling up to partying anyway. I guess that’s life, or well my life anyway. Thankfully the infection is going away and the pain has gone from like a 9 to like a 4, which is promising. Anyway enough of my whining. I hope you all had a good Christmas or whatever it is you may celebrate. I’ll leave you with this awesome clip.
