My Mood: Loved emoticon Loved
Now Playing: Haven't Met You Yet by Michael Buble

First off I’ve been super busy lately which is most of why I haven’t posted in awhile. Mostly working and helping my friend plan a wedding. Well, that, and I have recently become addicted to those damn time management games! You know the ones where you have to make the little person perform tasks, like Diner Dash or Farm Frenzy. Yeah, I never should’ve started playing those! :um: Anyways, my friend and I have been running around like mad women trying to plan an entire wedding in 5 weeks. Yep you read that right, 5 weeks! Her and her fiance just got in engaged at Christmas time and apparently he was supposed to be home for at least 7 months but found out he’s being deployed again. So they decided to get married before he leaves and unfortunately there’s not a lot of time. :worry: Originally they decided to just fly out to Vegas and have it quicky style but her mother got all upset about that, so now her parents are sparing no expense to pull it off in this short amount of time. Personally I think it’s nuts, it took me about a year to plan mine. On the other hand she’s my bestie and I totally understand why they’re in such a rush. So needless to say, since I’m her matron of honor ;) I offered to help. It’s funny but until you’re rushed, you really don’t realize how much has to be done for a nice elegant wedding! Anyway so there’s that and the gaming and the work and the slacking all contributing to my lack of posts.

So now about Valentine’s Day. Hubby had to travel for work, and was gone all of last week (including Vday), so we celebrated this weekend and had a date night on Saturday. Well, if you can call it celebrating because really it’s more of a consumer driven holiday. That said, it was a good night. We went out to dinner and then a movie. It was a toss up on what to see but we ended up watching Valentine’s Day! I don’t know what others thought of it, but we both loved it! Probably me more than him. Besides the fact that it is packed with talented actors, it was a good movie with a good story. Usually I can predict what’s going to happen in a movie and this one was like that until almost the very end. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a predictable movie I’m just good at calling what’s coming. Well, I called most of what happened in this apart from the ending, which I loved. It was both surprising and feel good. One of the big shockers I saw coming but the other I was cheesing like awww squee! Long story short, it was a movie I’d recommend. Especially if you like romantic comedies. Any of you seen it? Did you enjoy it? <3

Site News
New layout is up as of today. Not overly detailed, it’s simplistic and I’m pretty happy with it. I’ve also cut the fat on some of my affies and exchanges. Deleted those who I’ve been neglecting (again sorry hope you got my emails) or those who failed to inform me they were closing. I still have a few and intend on maintaining those relationships. I’m also working on updating parts of the resources and tutorials sections, new updates for those are in the works but with me it could be a few weeks before they’re completed. :P

  5. Wow, that is a short amount of time to plan a wedding. I thought my brother was crazy trying to plan one in 6 months. But I guess you can pull off anything if you really want to.

I haven’t seen Valentine’s Day but I really want to. I love it when movies have all kinds of famous people in them and I am a sucker for romantic comedies. I will definitely watch it at some point.
